How To Get To Sun Valley

Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN)
The Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) is in Hailey, Idaho - just 20 minutes from downtown Ketchum. There are generally direct flights from LAX, SFO, and SEA, though this can depend on day of week and time of year. If you’re flying from the Midwest or East Coast, the most common connecting flights are through Denver, Salt Lake, and Chicago. We recommend booking flights ASAP!

Boise Airport (BOI)
The Boise Airport (BOI) is a ~2.5-hour drive to Ketchum, Idaho. Flying into Boise is often the more affordable flight option, especially if you split a rental car with some friends!
We recommend the slightly longer driving route (I-84 E and ID-75 N) as the US-20 E is remote and doesn’t have cell reception.

Ground Transportation
We will provide transportation to and from Ketchum for the wedding. Once into town, everything in town is walking distance, but we’d highly recommend a rental car for those who might like to hike or explore the rest of the Valley.
There are very few (if any) Ubers in Sun Valley, so we recommend renting a car or calling these taxi companies to reserve your taxi in advance. If you want to rent a car, do so in advanced as there are usually limited options upon landing!
